Frederic Latreille, M. Eng., MBA

More than 15 years of business experience as an entrepreneur, consultant and private equity investor focused in the IT, utility and industrial sectors. Frederic is currently advising several technology companies as well as venture capital & private equity firms on key topics of strategy, business development, financing, and M&A. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Utilicase where he sits on the HR committee and  Chairs the Audit committee. Frederic was previously a consultant in McKinsey & Company’s Business Technology Office (BTO) where he acted as one of the global co-leaders of the IT infrastructure and IT outsourcing & offshoring practices. During his tenure at McKinsey, Frederic served clients in a wide variety of sectors with a focus on IT companies (hardware, software & services) and financial services.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Frederic co-developed Trigo Technologies, an enterprise software company, which was acquired by IBM to become the Websphere Product Center module of the Websphere suite.  Frederic also worked as a project manager for Bombardier Aerospace and as a software developer for Alcatel.

Frederic holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, a Master in Aerospace engineering from ENSAE (Toulouse, France) and a B. Sc. in Aeronautical engineering from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal.

Christine Beaubien B.Sc., MBA , ICD.D

Entrepreneur and manager, Christine has a wide ranging experience working in the IT, finance and investment fields. She participated in several merger and acquisition transactions while being an important shareholder of Versus, an outsourcer and developer of IT solutions. Over the five years that she managed Versus, Christine and her team have succeeded in positioning Versus among the fastest growing companies in Canada. She subsequently successfully negotiated the sale of the company to Fusepoint Managed Services, which was later acquired by Savvis and then Century Link. Christine also held several key positions at Societe Generale de Financement du Quebec (SGF), Export Development Canada (EDC), Bombardier Capital, Desjardins, Banque Paribas in Paris and the Department of International Affairs of Quebec. She is now pursuing her career as a consultant, advising clients on financial and merger and acquisition strategies. Christine also analyzes diverse corporate investment opportunities for a group of private investors and for her own account.

Christine graduated from Sherbrooke University in Computer Science in 1982, obtained her MBA from the HEC in Montreal in 1991. She obtained her Certified Director degree from McGill University and the Institute of Corporate Directors in 2008. She is an active member of Anges Québec.
